Since 1967, they have linked science, economics, and law to create innovative, equitable, and cost-effective solutions to the most urgent environmental problems. Women & Sustainability The La Leche League - Breastfeeding, with its many important physical and psychological advantages, is best for baby and mother and is the ideal way to initiate good parent-child relationships. The Feminist Site - Feminist.com is a grassroots, interactive community by, for and about women. We aim to facilitate information-sharing among women and encourage mobilization around political issues. Vandana Shiva - "Globalization, Women & Agriculture" - Vandana Shiva of India is a leading voice for sustainable development and social justice. A Renaissance-type woman, she's an internationally-renowned physicist, philosopher, social and environmental activist and feminist and a featured speaker at major environmental conferences in the U.S. and around the world. This is one of her talks from NPR's "Alternative Radio."
